TODAY: The Renfrew County Road Supervisors Association will host its annual Safety Truck Roadeo this Thursday at the myFM Centre in Renfrew. Top municipal truck and plow operators will compete to be crowned “Mr. Plow” before representing the region at the provincial competition in Owen Sound. Spectators welcome to bring a chair or blanket to watch from Ma-te-Way Park.
TODAY: The Eganville Legion hosts its Thursday Dinner and Dance at their branch office, 57 Veterans Way this Thursday, August 27. Enjoy a meal with pork chop, roasted potato, and corn served from 5:00 to 6:00 pm followed by music until 8:00 pm. $18/person. Call 613-628-2802 to reserve.

THIS MONTH: The Cobden, Arnprior, and Renfrew Agricultural Societies present the Renfrew County Fair Jackpot 50/50. Proceeds from the raffle support community events and invest in improvements for all three volunteer-led organizations. Buy your tickets online or at the Renfrew Fair September 10-13.
