The All Hands on Deck Food Drive returns for another year this Thursday, August 27th in Arnprior.
107.7 WOW FM and the Pilon Family Funeral Home are joining forces to help raise funds and collect non-perishable food items for the Arnprior & District Food Bank. Bob Dillabough, General Manager for 107.7 WOW FM gave us a rundown of the day.
Teams from the food bank and WOW FM will be scattered throughout the community at three different locations filling trucks with generous donations from the community from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Participating Locations:
- Giant Tiger – 80 Elgin St. W.
- Mark’s No Frills – 39 Winners Circle Dr.
- Metro – 375 Daniel St. S.
Sheri Lee, Events Coordinator with the Arnprior & District Food Bank says half their clientele are children and the goal is to keep their food sustainable.
Lee goes on to say that she’s extremely appreciative of the community and their generosity.
Dillabough would also like to thank our gracious sponsors and the community for their help in making this day possible.
