Artists from throughout the valley and beyond set to gather on the shores of the Fall River in Maberly. The 20th edition of the Sundance Artisan Show kicks off Labour Day Weekend with more than 29 artists displaying their works. Marie-Therese Steenberghe from the event organizing committee says there’s a large variety of styles to see.
Within the different medias, artists have specific talents that might peak your interest. In the woodworking realm, there are woodturners, carvers, people who work with epoxy and more! Something is bound to peak your interest.
The event has been going on since 2006 and Steenberghe tells us how it all came to be.
Roughly 3,000 attendees visit the show annually and this year they’re expecting more. The free event will be at 126 Maberly-Elphin Rd., in Maberly on September 5th, 6th and 7th from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., closing at 2 p.m. on the last day. Donations are welcome.
