Many events throughout the summer happen morning to afternoon, but Arnprior’s Cultural Night Market is perfect for those night owls.
The opening ceremonies are set for 4 p.m. on John Street North between The Vintage Crate and White Pine Books. Lucas Power, Program and Events Supervisor with the Town of Arnprior says there’s so much to do and over 40 vendors to see.
Returning for it’s 5th edition, the event takes over the historic downtown core this Saturday with performances, workshops and so many vendors to peruse. After the opening ceremonies a list of performers hit the main stage from 4:30 p.m. until 9 p.m.
Performers include:
- Amanda Fox
- Chairman George
- Struti Mukherjee
- Akawui
Featuring a special street performance by Moov Ottawa on Elgin Street at 6 p.m. Power says each performance is unique in it’s own way.
Workshops are also available at the Main Street School of Music from 5 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
While the main event wraps up at 9 p.m., that doesn’t mean the party’s over. A few local businesses in the downtown core are planning to keep the show going until 11 p.m. or event 1 a.m.
Visit the Town of Arnprior’s website to get a full list of performers, vendors and After Party businesses.
