Some new faces are joining the line up at the Nick Smith Centre this coming hockey season.
The Arnprior Packers announced through their social media that they have signed four new players to the roster for the 2026-27 season.
August 11th, the team signed defenceman Cal Forshee. Forshee played for the Swindon Cougars and Swindon Wildcats in England. The team says in their post that they look forward to his arrival in Canada.
On August 12th, the team signed goalie Gavin LeGree back from the Renfrew Timberwolves. LeGree played for the Packers in the 24-25 season, and returns after one season with the Timberwolves.
August 13th saw the team sign forward and affiliate player Max Windle from their most recent draft class. The teams says they’re excited to see Windle continue his development with the team.
August 15th, the Packers signed defenceman and affiliate player Liam Marcil. The team says in their post Marcil is strong defensively and has a great pass first mentality.
The EOJHL season starts Tuesday, September 15th with the Richmond Royals visiting the Ottawa Canadians. Arnprior sees their first game Friday, September 18th where they will host the Glengarry Brigade.
