The Arnprior Rotary Club has announced the winners of the 2026 Duck Race.
Due to weather, the race didn’t happen on July 1st, and instead the winners were chosen from a draw.
First prize of $1500 went to Luke Coady of Pakenham, second prize of $1000 goes to Patricia Carry of White Lake, while Jenna Hill of Arnprior won the third prize of $500.
On a normal year, hundreds of ducks are dumped into the river from the Madawaska bridge in Arnprior on Canada Day, while onlookers cheer them on. The event raises thousands of dollars and funds important community projects through Arnprior Rotary.
