The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad is asking for the public’s help in locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for allegedly breaching the conditions of his statutory release.
Police say 28-year-old Braedon Guy is wanted after failing to comply with the terms of his release while serving a five-year federal sentence.
According to the R.O.P.E. Squad, Guy was convicted of two counts of possession of a Schedule I or II substance for the purpose of trafficking, as well as one count of failing to comply with an order and one count of failing to comply with a probation order.
He is described as a Caucasian man standing five feet 11 inches tall and weighing about 205 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. Police say he has several distinctive tattoos, including “Family First” across his chest, a cross on his right hand, a small line on his right cheek and “Royalty” on his right forearm.
Investigators say he is known to frequent the Ottawa area.
Anyone who sees Guy or has information about his whereabouts is asked not to approach him. Instead, they are encouraged to contact the Provincial R.O.P.E. Squad, Crime Stoppers or call 911 in an emergency.
