Everyone likes to hum when they don’t know the words, but the back story behind theHumm has contributed to Kris Riendeau winning this year’s Mississippi Mills Business Champion Award.
Since 1998, Kris – along with her husband Rob – has operated theHumm, the arts and entertainment publication regarded as a cultural lifeline in the Ottawa Valley.
theHumm functions as a regional arts hub, connecting creators, venues, audiences, and communities.
Kris also operates the Tickets Please platform, ensuring performers have audiences to play to and that arts events remain both accessible well supported.
