Carleton Place has its Urban Forest and River Corridor Committee that expresses its citizenry’s justifiable obsession with the Mississippi River community’s natural beauty, but there’s an element its locals aren’t even trying to live down!
The over 200 year-old town is a finalist in a national contest to select who houses Canada’s Ugliest Bleacher.
At this point, municipal magazine CP Scoop notes “The Teal Relic” is currently in third place in contest voting.
The competition, powered by SportSystems, will announce a winner in July.
