In 2000, when Arnprior Animal Hospital moved into its updated facility on Daniel Street, the clinic introduced a new logo to mark the transition. The goal was simple: create a clear, professional symbol that reflected the hospital’s focus on small animal veterinary care. The silhouetted logo of the child pulling the family dog and cat in a wagon remains a comfort a quarter century later. Mackenzie Rooney is Practice Manager at the Arnprior Animal Hospital, a role she’s held for the past year-plus. It compliments the various aspects of animal care she’s been involved with ever since growing up on a Nova Scotia dairy farm. It’s a role that has its “bilingual” aspects, communicating information the pet can’t convey to its owner.
