Arnprior:
Today: Toddler Tales is an event for Children aged 12 months to 2.5 years taking place from 10-1030AM in the Library’s sunny Scharf Hall. To join in on themed stories, songs, rhymes and a fun craft all you need is your library card to get a name tag and participate.
English Lessons for beginners happens from 10AM-Noon in the Gaumand Room of the Arnprior Public Library. Newcomers are welcome to attend this free drop-in ESL program led by qualified volunteer tutors. The Friday meet-ups are geared toward beginner learners. Meet new people, enjoy a coffee and improve your English skills.
A Voter Registration Help Session is taking place from 10AM-Noon at the Library. Meet with the Town of Arnprior municipal election team to for assistance updating your information or verifying that you are on the Voters List for the 2026 Municipal Election.
A Drop-in Preschool Story Time takes place from 11-1130AM for children ages 2.5 to school age are invited to our beautiful sunny Scharf Hall for themed stories, songs, rhymes and a fun craft for this half hour of library fun. All you need is your library card to get a name tag and enjoy the fun every Friday.
A Health Unit Outreach session occurs from 12:15 PM – 3:30 PM in the Gaumond Room of the Main Library. Visit with one of Renfrew County District Health Unit nurses to find out more about their services and resources. You’ll be able to pick up a well water testing kit, naloxone kits and information about the health unit’s various programs including immunization clinics, drug prevention, registration for the Canadian Dental Plan among many other services.
A Bridge Club drop in welcomes players from beginners to experienced Fridays from 1230-330PM in the Main Community Hall of the Arnprior Public Library. There is no fee or registration to attend, however donations will be accepted in support of the High School’s Guidance Office and their Teens in Need program.
Take Note: The Arnprior and District Museum invites you to the Fibre Arts Drop In, to occur on Sunday June 14th at 2PM as local Spinner and Weaver Jenny Croft will lead a free, family-friendly public fibre arts drop in. Find out about the Museum’s new loom and spinning equipment that are available for public use.
Mississippi Mills:
Today: Mississippi Mills Youth Centre Trivia Night happens from 730-1030PM at the Almonte Old Town Hall. The event is for ages 19-plus. Test your knowledge, and enjoy some friendly competition – whether you’re a trivia pro or just in it for the laughs, it’s a great night out while supporting youth in our community. Tomorrow: The Almonte United Church Plant Sale takes place from 8AM to Noon with everything you need to start the season right, including annuals and perennials, Herbs and vegetables (perfect for home gardening) and house plants. The Folkus Concert Series concludes with a bonus secret show Saturday beginning at 730PM at Almonte Old Town Hall. Folkus is a roots-based music series held in the colder months in beautiful Almonte, Ontario, offering 4 shows per season. Our concerts are a rare chance to see Canadian bands up close and hear them as they’re meant to be heard, in this awesome local acoustic gem. Today: All You Can Eat Spaghetti and Darts happens from 4-10PM at the Carleton Place Legion, 177 George Street. Cost is $10 fro dinner from 4-530PM and $10 for Darts from 6-10PM.
Drag Me To Hell III Trivia Night takes place from 6-8PM at the Dark and Deadly Cafe, 1 Costello Drive, Unit 5.

Tomorrow: The Carleton Place Farmers Market for 2026 takes place today from 830AM-1230PM at Market Square, 7 Beckwith Street. Shop for fresh produce, baked goods, handmade treasures- rain or shine.
The first annual Carleton Place Clean & Green Community Cleanup is today, starting at 9AM. Participants may select a specific area in their own neighborhood to clean or contact the Town for suggestions of local parks and trails that could use some extra attention. Cleanup supplies will be provided. This event is proudly presented by the Town of Carleton Place and sponsored by Carleton Place Home Depot. Attend the Pie Are Squared Food Co Pop-up at Carleton Place Gallery from 1030AM-Noon. Once a month, Henry Strong from PieAreSquared will be popping up in the gallery with his scones, bread, pies, cookies and amazing butter tarts. Come early. He will be there from 10:30AM until sold out.
