The Annual Pakenham Maple Run Tour is April 4th and 5th from 10AM-4PM daily, and it’s a feast of more than just food.
Discover the art and fine craft of local artists and artisans at 7 fascinating tour stops in, or adjacent to Pakenham.
Farmgate Cider, between Galetta and Kinburn Side Roads, is a family-owned and operated cidery with a restored heritage cider barn.
The Paddye Mann Studio 156 MacFarlane Street, Pakenham offers custom clothing and fine jewellery.
Cartwright Springs Brewery. 239 Deer Run Road, has an obvious attraction as well as porcelain and stoneware pottery and artistic blacksmithing.
Fulton’s Sugar Bush and Maple Shop, 399 Sugar Bush road, Pakenham features a working maple sugar bush with handcrafted soy gemstone candles – and maple products.
The Cedar Hill schoolhouse, (270 Cedar Hill Road) famous for its leatherworking, hand painted stoneware pottery, baking and confections now features NEW wildcrafted teas.
And, speaking of NEW… there are two new stops on the tour! The Cedar Hill Christmas Tree Farm – 951 8th Concession South, isn’t just for tree shopping, it houses the Maple Run’s largest gathering of artists and artisans.
Also new, Willowcreek Studio, 411 Bellamy Mills Road – on a winding road a few minutes from Fulton’s featuring stunning landscape art, natural soaps and skincare.
