Arnprior:
Today: A Mahjong Meet-up takes place from 1230-330PM each Thursday in the Arnprior Library’s Scharf Hall. Adults who are looking to learn this game are most welcome to join.
A Therapy Dog Visit happens every Thursday, as the Arnprior Library welcomes Cooper and his handler Carrie to meet with library visitors. Cooper is a super friendly Golden Retriever and always loves making new friends. Stop by to meet Cooper as he gains more community hours through the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog Program.
Dungeons & Dragons happens Thursdays in the Arnprior Library’s Main Community Hall from 300-450PM. This Dungeons & Dragons program is for both experienced players and those new to the game. A Grief Support Circle, coordinated by Hospice Renfrew in partnership with the library occurs the first Thursday of month from 445-615PM in the tranquility of Scharf Hall. For more information, reach out to Hospice Renfrew 613-433-3993.
Tomorrow: The Arnprior Public Library is closed Good Friday, April 3rd and will also be closed Easter Monday, April 6th.
Take Note: The Second Annual Arnprior Bunny Run takes place Saturday from Noon to 2PM from Robert Simpson Park. Take part in a 2k, 5k or 10k distance. Participation cost is $45 for Youth, $55 Adult (plus HST). Mississippi Mills:
Today: The Almonte Civitan Club Community Luncheon happens from 1130AM-130PM at the Civitan Hall, 500 Almonte Street. The Mississippi Mills Youth Centre Art Night happens from 5-7PM at the MMYC. Sock Bunnies is tonight’s theme for ages 10-18. Email programcoordinator@mmyc.ca

Carleton Place:
Today: Crafternoon happens from 2-4PM at A Bunch of Whimsy, 142 Bridge St. The topic is Pearler Bead Creations (16+). The options are almost limitless with these tiny meltable beads. Tomorrow: The Helen Wilson Memorial Dart Tournament takes place at the Carleton Place Legion, 177 George Street from 10AM-5PM.
Registration is from 10am – 10:45am, with Play starting up at 11am. Cost to participate is $15 per player. Proceeds will be split between the Make A Wish Foundation and a Local Charity. Come as a mixed double team (1 man, 1 woman) and blind draw for your other pair to make a 4-person team. Payouts will be based on number of participants. There will be Raffles and a 50/50 draw, with Food available for purchase.
