If you enjoyed last Saturday’s “Music Music Music” performance by the Arnprior Community Choir and the Valley Concert Band, Choir Director Lisa Webber says you’ll thrill to this season’s final choral performance, in about a month and a half’s time.
The May event will be a touch of Baroque.
The principal expense in running a choir is buying performance rights to the music.
And expenses also come in its presentation
The Arnprior Community Choir (ACC) was first established in 1991 as a night school Continuing Education course at ADHS.
Today the size of the Arnprior Community Choir varies from 65 to 80 members, both men and women, with ages ranging from 25 to 85.
While this season’s session is full, if you are interested in joining the Arnprior Community Choir, the non-audition choir is open to singers of all ages and skill levels. The fee to join is $70/session. (Payment by cash or cheque only.)
Registration and rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings at the Arnprior Legion.
