Almonte in Concert presents the Scandalous Romantics at 730PM at the Almonte Old Town Hall. The event is an hilarious tabloid take on stories behind the most celebrated music stars across genres and their spectacular lapses in judgment! Co-written with CBC’s Tom Allen, Michael Bridge (digital accordion and piano) and Kornel Wolak (clarinet and piano) expose the lust, pride, and envy that fueled some of the greatest music every written.

Tomorrow: Pancakes and Hoops is on from 8-11AM at the Almonte Legion, 100 Bridge Street. The breakfast is a fundraiser for the U14 Girls Competitive Basketball Program and the Love4Reesie Foundation. Admission is Adults $10, kids $6.
The Mississippi Mills Youth Centre offers Dungeons and Dragons for youth ages 10-18 from 1-4PM. It’s free. Register by emailing projectcoordinator@mmyc.ca

Today: World Day of Prayer Services happen from 1-3PM at Zion Memorial Church, 37 Franklin Street. This year’s service is written by World Day of Prayer Nigeria.

Tomorrow: The Jeff Rogers Trio performs live at the Carleton Place Town Hall Auditorium from 645-10PM
