The awards of league Scoring Champion and Most Valuable Player don’t always go hand-in-hand, but in the case of Arnprior Packers star Ethan Smith, this year they certainly do.
The 2006-born Stittsville, ON native delivered an historic offensive season, leading the EOJHL with 47 goals, 59 assists, and 106 points in just 41 games.
Smith’s 2.59 points per game ranked first in the league and paced the Green Shirts’ offence.
His “combination of elite production, consistency, and influence on team success made him the clear choice for the league’s highest individual honour”- and those aren’t our words, they come directly from the league itself.
