Mississippi Mills Mayor Christa Lowry will once again be a guest speaker at an Ottawa International Women’s Day event that’s becoming a civc tradition.
The function is an IWD power luncheon, created by Catherine Landry of Sheshopslocal.ca and the topic is Kindness.
The National Arts Centre is the venue, and the March 6th event brings women together for meaningful conversation and connection, paired with an exceptional lunch prepared by Red Seal Indigenous Chef Steph Baryluk.
Cohosts are Janice McDonald and Michelle Groulx- who will moderate a leadership panel featuring Mayor Nancy Peckford, North Grenville; Corinna Smith-Gatcke, Mayor Township of Leeds and The 1000 Islands, and Lowry.
The three women mayors will talk about local economies, business, and how our communities grow and thrive.
