Applications are now open for the second intake of the Rural Ontario Development Program.
The grant program covers a large swath of the Province – one rule of thumb being that the applicable area should have a population density of 100 people per square kilometre or less, as identified in the most recent Statistics Canada Census of Canadian Population
This $20M investment is designed to strengthen rural economies, support infrastructure, and help keep workers on the job.
Deadline to apply: February 26th, 2026 at 5PM.
