Tomorrow: Welcome to Family Feud – Arnprior Family Day Attend the Nick Smith Centre on February 14, 2026 at Noon for a fun-filled day with your loved ones. Get ready to laugh, compete, and bond with your family in this exciting event. Whether you’re a trivia master or just looking for a good time, this event is perfect for all ages. Bring your A-game and prepare for some friendly competition as we play our version of the classic game show. It costs $25 plus fees to register your family or group of friends of up to 5 for a game. Games are two rounds and last roughly 30 minutes. The registration will ask what the age of your group is and you will be given a game against a group similar to yours with questions appropriate to your age.

Join Lanark County Interval House and Community Support for a fang-tastic evening at the Mississippi Valley Textile Museum as we sink our teeth into the red flags of everyone’s favorite vampire romance. Love Bites isn’t your average movie night – we’re turning the Twilight saga upside down with interactive games, a costume contest, and a chance to spot the toxic sparks in Bella and Edward’s “undying” romance.

Tomorrow: A new exhibit has arrived at the Mississippi Valley Textile Museum (MVTM). A Stitch in Time: The Palestine History Tapestry, hosted in partnership with Palestine Museum US, is a selection of tatreez (Palestinian embroidery) pieces from the Palestine History Tapestry – a collection of over 100 hand-stitched panels by Palestinian women in refugee camps. The tapestry will be on display at the museum from February 14 to April 19th. The exhibition opening will take place today from 1-4PM.
A Valentine’s Tea, hosted by the North Lanark Regional Museum, will be held from 1-3PM at the Almonte Legion Branch 240, located at 100 Bridge St. Guests will be treated to a delightful high tea experience, featuring an assortment of sandwiches and delicious sweet treats to indulge in. Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased by emailing nlrmuseum@gmail.com.
The Exhibition, LOVE LOVE LOVE will be displayed at Sivarulrasa Gallery from February 14th to March 20th. The show brings together works by artists Sarah Anderson, Gayle Kells, Peter Wood, and Mary Pfaff, exploring themes of love and life. The Artists Reception is February 14th from 2-4PM.
Public Skating happens from 6-8PM at the Stewart Community Centre in Pakenham.
Catch the Adam Graeme Comedy Stage Hypnosis Show and dinner, presented by the Almonte Civitan Club. Doors open at 5 p.m., dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. This is a fundraiser for the accessible family playground project. Mississippi Mudds Present: HadesTown – Teen Edition from 730-930PM at the Carleton Place Town Hall Auditorium. HadesTown: Teen Edition is a full-length adaptation of Anaïs Mitchell’s international phenomenon, modified for performance by teen actors for family audiences.
Tomorrow: The Carleton Place Legion is hosting its monthly community breakfast from 8am to 10am. Adults are $13 or two for $25, kids 12 and under are $6.50, kids 6 and under eat free! Breakfast options include eggs to order, bacon, sausage, pancakes, home fries, homemade beans, and a variety of toast, juice, coffee or tea.
A visit by author C.J. Hong takes place from 10:30 am – 11:30 am at the Carleton Place Public Library. Hong will read from her debut picture book, GREETINGS, FLOOF! This is the story of an alien who lands on Earth but has trouble communicating with people.
There is a Community Band Concert, “Love is in the Air” at Zion-Memorial United Church, 37 Franklin St. beginning at 130PM. The event benefits Zion-Memorial’s Outreach Programs. Tickets include complimentary refreshments post-concert and can be purchased at the church office Tuesday-Friday 9-noon. Tickets $15
Local Sports:
EOJHL The Arnprior Packers visit the Renfrew Junior Timberwolves on Friday February 13th, beginning at 730PM. Remaining regular season games are February 14th, 16th and 18th.
