Take Note: The Town of Arnprior wishes a Happy and Prosperous New Year to all residents and ratepayers. Town Offices will be closed all day on Thursday, January 1st.
Mississippi Mills:
Take Note: Holiday Public Skates continue Friday and Saturday. Friday’s event in Almonte is sponsored by Joanne Beaton, Realtor and the Pakenham evening skates both days, by the Municipality of Mississippi Mills.
Carleton Place:
Today: Free Community Breakfast happens from 830-1030AM at St. James Anglican Church. All are welcome to a hot breakfast.
Tomorrow: Carleton Place Mayor & Council invite you to join us at the Carleton Place Arena (75 Neelin Street) as we ring in the New Year January 1st with FREE public skating, hot dogs, popcorn, and complimentary refreshments. Join us from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. All are welcome! *Please note – skate aids are not permitted on the ice for this event.
Local Sports:
The EOJHL is on its Holiday Break. Play resumes January 2nd, when the Arnprior Packers visit the Perth Blue Wings at 730PM.
Arnprior Rivermen visit the Manotick Mariners on Saturday January 3rd, beginning at 130PM.
