Participating members of the Junior B Packers performed well during the EOJHL’s Prospects game December 8th, despite the contest resulting in a 8-6 victory for the Martin Division Squad.
That’s Arnprior Packer Executive Dustin Dorken.
At this writing, the Packers lead the Richardson Division by 12 points- and, following Thursday’s 5-4 overtime victory in Smiths Falls, have won ten in a row.
Dorken, ownership partner Donovan Welk and team coaching staff largely had a “paper tiger” on their hands, due to the pre-season inavailability of ice at the Nick Smith Centre.
The Green Shirts have five players named to the starting lineup for the EOJHL’s All Star Game, Monday night at the myFM Centre in Renfrew.
As the fan base catches on to just how good the 2025-26 Arnprior Packers are, attendance continues to rise while the rink is still a work-in-progress.
Dorken is optimistic for the season’s second half.
The weekend following the All-Star game, it’s a home-and-home against the Renfrew Junior Timberwolves, and Dorken will have more to say on that next week.
