Big changes in how you park as a visitor are coming to Arnprior Regional Health Monday- and to how much you’ll pay for the privilege.
The gated entrance is now flush with John Street.
A release from the Hospital indicates, “There is a 15 minute grace period before any charges apply which allows for pickup and drop offs to occur. If they are dropping off a patient and then parking, they will already be in the lot.”
The email goes on to indicate: “The new changes will significantly improve site flow and access for patients. As an example, in the past, patients could not be dropped off at Emergency entrance doors without having to pay for parking. With the new system, patients can be dropped off directly at Emergency and the driver will have 15 minutes to exit before being charged.”

Once you adjust to the new method of access and egress, it’s time to check your change.
New graduated daily rates will take effect: free for the first 15 minutes, $3 for up to 30 minutes, $4 for up to an hour, $5 for up to 90 minutes, and $6 maximum for the day… but you’ll no longer have to arrive with a heavy pocket of toonies.
Take advantage of Cashless convenience – pay by debit or credit at the exit gate or at indoor stations within the Hospital.
Cash payments will still be available at Switchboard in the Emergency Department, if required.
Long term visitors are being offered In-and-Out privileges – available through a new day pass option.
Multi-day passes: 5, 10, and 30-day passes are now available for non-consecutive day use, valid for up to a year.
