Arnprior:
Tomorrow: Friday at 4PM is the deadline to purchase tickets for the annual Seniors at Home Christmas Party, happening at the Parish Hall on Albert Street on Friday December 12th. Tickets are $30 for the Roast Turkey Dinner by Schmitt’s Catering, with entertainment by the Four of Hearts. Get your tickets at the Seniors at Home Office on McGonigal Street West.
The Arnprior Community Choir presents, “Sing Noel” on Friday December 5th at 730PM and Saturday December 6th at 2PM at Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church on Baskin Drive. Tickets are available at White Pine Books, 152 John Street North for $20 Adult, $10 for Children 12 and under. Cash only, and No Refunds.
Take Note: The 8th Annual Penny Stashick Ugly Sweater Walk takes place from Robert Simpson Park on Saturday. Registration begins at 8AM, and the Walk gets underway at 930AM. Proceeds to Arnprior Regional Health’s Endoscopy Campaign.
Mississippi Mills:
Today: A Meal for All’s Free Community Breakfast takes place from 830-1030AM at 111 Church Street in Almonte. A MEAL FOR ALL strives to build community by providing opportunities to gather and share food.
Join the Almonte Civitan Club for their final Community Luncheon of 2025, at the Civitan Hall from 1130AM to 130PM. Enjoy a menu featuring Civitan tourtiere, baked beans, green salad with apple cider vinaigrette dressing, cranberries, chili sauce, gravy, buns and butter. Trifle for dessert, tea and coffee. Pick-Up Hockey for Grades 6-9 takes place at the John Levi Community Centre in Almonte from 4-5PM. Full equipment is required. Cost is $5 per person.

Tomorrow: Coffee Time Drop-in happens from 10-1130AM at the Pakenham Branch of the Mississippi Mills Public Library.
The Mississippi Mills Friends of the Library are hosting their second Christmas Book Sale from Noon to 5PM at the Rexall Mall, 430 Ottawa St., in Almonte. Books of every genre are offered in good to near-new condition, sold individually or in sets. Many are wrapped and bowed and ready to give. Come, experience a holiday atmosphere with the Friends, and get some Christmas shopping done.
Light Up the Night haapens from 7PM to 830PM on Mill Street in Almonte. Wayne Rostad returns as host. The Vendor Area featuring: Beavertails, Maple Taffy from Thompsontown Maple, Hot Chocolate from the Almonte Scouts, Vodkow Drinks from Dairy Distillery and a crackling fire to warm up to opens at 6:30PM.
