Today: Not So Spooky Storytime happens from 1030-1130AM. Head back to the “Dark and Deadly Cafe” aimed at 2-5 year olds. This will be a perfectly fun and silly story time with Halloween stories and songs for the whole family. Please wear a costume so the Booristas and our storyteller will not feel overdressed. There will be sweet treats and drinks for purchase before the session, so come a few minutes early to 1 Costello Drive, Unit 5 in Carleton Place.
The Beyond Curling Social Scene happens from 1130AM-330PM at the Curling Club, 120 Patterson Crescent.
Tomorrow: The Carleton Place Community Lunch takes place from Noon-1PM at Zion Memorial Church, 37 Franklin Street.
Civitan Weekly Bingo is on from 430-9PM at the Carleton Place Arena, 75 Neelin Street.
Silent Art Night happens from 6-730PM. Have you heard about the Silent Book Clubs where people meet at a public location, chat for a few minutes, and then read in silence for the rest of the evening? We’re doing something just as fun this fall for all those introverts out there; Join us on Tuesday, October 28th at the library for a night of silent art-ing. Bring along whatever you’re working on—a painting, your sketchbook, that blanket you’re crocheting—and do it quietly in a room full of other people who love to create, but don’t want the pressure of having to make conversation.
Local Sports:
Arnprior Packers are in Smiths Falls against the Bears at 730PM on Thursday October 30th.
Arnprior Rivermen play the Paugan Falls Rapids at the Gatineau Valley Arena on Friday November 7th at 730PM.
