Tomorrow: On Saturday October 18th from 9AM to Noon you are invited to join the Macnamara Field Naturalists’ Club as it celebrates the many achievements of their volunteers and the hard work they do in maintaining this beautiful trail. There will be light refreshments, guided hikes, and a kid-friendly scavenger hunt – all for free! Meet at 284 McNab Avenue in Arnprior.
Mississippi Mills:
Today: The seminar, “Cashing in on Cycle Tourism” returns after a two-year absence to the Almonte Old Town Hall from 930AM-3PM. An anticipated audience of businesses, tourism, municipal staffers and citizens from Lanark and Renfrew Counties are expected. Cost is $30 and includes lunch and refreshments.

An Author Visit from Nadee Fernando-O’Driscoll happens on Saturday, October 18 at 2pm at the Carleton Place Public Library. She will talk about her debut novel Labyrinth of Dreams, based on a true story. She’ll be selling signed copies for $20 each at the end of the session.
