It was a bitter-sweet event to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Carebridge Community Support in Mississippi Mills.
The Almonte facility’s golden anniversary coincided with National Seniors’ Day on Wednesday October 1st.
The Celebrating Seniors event featured a community walk through Almonte, followed by snacks, refreshments, and the premiere of a powerful new film created in partnership with The Mainspring Agency.
The moving film shared the voices and stories of local seniors and the challenges they face.
It paid tribute to Linda Berg, one of the inspiring individuals featured, who sadly passed away shortly after the October 1st event.
