Arnprior:
Take Note: On Saturday October 18th from 9AM to Noon you are invited to join the Macnamara Field Naturalists’ Club as it celebrates the many achievements of their volunteers and the hard work they do in maintaining this beautiful trail. There will be light refreshments, guided hikes, and a kid-friendly scavenger hunt – all for free! Meet at 284 McNab Avenue in Arnprior.
Mississippi Mills:
Tomorrow: Baby Time, featuring songs, rhymes and stories for ages up to 12 months (with a caregiver) is offered at the Almonte Branch of the Mississippi Mills Public Library from 10-1030AM.
Carleton Place:
Today: The Carleton Place Community Lunch happens from Noon to 1PM at Zion Memorial Church, 37 Franklin Street. Everyone is welcome.
Civitan Weekly Bingo takes place from 430-9PM at the Carleton Place Arena, 75 Neelin Street. Doors open at 4:30, games begin 6:30. There is a well stocked canteen along with several dedicated Civitan member ready to assist you.
Tomorrow: Free Community Breakfast happens from 830-1030AM at St James Anglican Church 225 Edmund Street. All are welcome.
Families in Crisis: You’re Not Alone discusses social alienation or isolation due to coping with drugs, addictions or isolation. Events in the series run Wednesdays from 5-6PM at St. Mary’s Parish Hall, 28 Hawthorne Avenue in Carleton Place.

Arnprior Packers are in Embrun versus the Panthers on Friday October 17th at 8PM.
Arnprior Rivermen visit the Akwesasne Wild on Saturday October 18th at 5PM
