No one ever brags that they are “your source for fake news”, but many compete behind-the-scenes for the “honour”.
The Carleton Place Public Library is planning a session to unravel the spine-tingling truth behind misinformation.
It’s coming up Wednesday October 28th, just before Halloween, as organizers ask “what’s scarier than the swift spread of misinformation?”
The session, powered by MEDIA SMARTS, coincides with Media Literacy Week. It begins at 6PM.
Come for the truth, stay for the intrigue. Light refreshments will be served.
