Arnprior:
Take Note: On Saturday October 18th from 9AM to Noon you are invited to join the Macnamara Field Naturalists’ Club as it celebrates the many achievements of their volunteers and the hard work they do in maintaining this beautiful trail. There will be light refreshments, guided hikes, and a kid-friendly scavenger hunt – all for free! Meet at 284 McNab Avenue in Arnprior.
Mississippi Mills:
Today: The North Lanark Regional Museum invites you to join in today at noon for lunch and euchre! The program “Shuffling the Cards” runs every Monday from 12 – 2:30 p.m. Have a nutritious lunch and play a game of euchre. Admission is $10 per person. This program is funded by the New Horizons for Seniors Program Grant.
Why does my voice Warble? is a workshop presented by Dr. Mark Wilkinson at the Almonte Branch of the Mississippi Mills Public Library from 7-9PM. Admission is pay-what-you-can. The expert will discuss how aging changes one’s voice, and what you might be able to do about it.

Carleton Place:
Today: An event series, the “Beyond Curling Social Scene’ begins at the Carleton Place Curling Club and runs from 11AM-330PM. The club is located at 120 Patterson Crescent.
Tomorrow: The Carleton Place Community Lunch happens from Noon to 1PM at Zion Memorial Church, 37 Franklin Street. Everyone is welcome.
Civitan Weekly Bingo takes place from 430-9PM at the Carleton Place Arena, 75 Neelin Street. Doors open at 4:30, games begin 6:30. There is a well stocked canteen along with several dedicated Civitan member ready to assist you.
Local Sports:
Arnprior McNab Braeside United Soccer’s WINTER RECREATIONAL PROGRAM starts October 6th and there are 23 sessions in total.
