Today: A Taylor Swift Listening Party will take place to coincide with the release of her new album. The event, at the new location of Dianne Rodger Jewellery’s new location, 127 John Street North, celebrates The Life of a Show Girl. The TS12 Listening Party happens from 6-9PM.
Tomorrow: Fall Fest happens in downtown Arnprior Saturday from 11AM to 4PM.
Cold Bear’s Oktoberfest 2025 is set to be a vibrant celebration of Bavarian culture, offering a full day of music, games, beer, and food. The event will run in two sessions, with the option to purchase a Full-Day Pass for all-day enjoyment. Attendees can choose to attend either Session 1 or Session 2, or opt for a Full-Day Pass to experience it all. A ticket purchase includes a meal, and food will also be available for purchase all day during the event. Mississippi Mills:
Today: Coffee Time Drop-in happens from 10-1130AM at the Pakenham Branch of the Mississippi Mills Public Library.
The Almonte Legion presents comedian, actor and host Derek Seguin tonight from 8-10PM. Tickets are $40 each and are available at the Legion (100 Bridge Street).
Tomorrow: The Mississippi Mills Youth Centre’s Taco Night is returning from 5-6:30PM Saturday at 134 Main Street East, Almonte. Enjoy all-you-can-eat tacos while supporting youth programming in the community. Tickets are available at mmyc.ca/store in advance. If they don’t sell out, they’ll also be available at the door.
Carleton Place:
Today: Pumpkinfest weekend begins in Carleton Place with events from 4-8PM. Enjoy the evening night market with dozens of vendors showcasing handmade wares and delicious treats at the Market Square Pavilion (7 Beckwith Street). Experience thrilling busker & musical entertainment including: Kobbler Jay, Skylar Radmore, Boots the Troll, and Julie Perron Laflamme. Stroll the Downtown core for sidewalk and in-store sales. Cap off the evening off with an outdoor screening of the 1985 cult classic “The Goonies”.

Arnprior McNab Braeside United Soccer’s WINTER RECREATIONAL PROGRAM Registration is on now for the U5/U6, U7/U8, and U9/U10 Boys & Girls program. This program is perfect for young players to learn, play, and have fun in a supportive environment. Sessions start October 6th and there are 23 sessions in total.
