Here’s what’s going on in Arnprior and area over the next 48 hours.
Arnprior:
Today: You’ll find mounds of fries and oceans of gravy- not to mention chunky cheese curds, as Poutine Feast has returned to Arnprior. Four food trucks with unique specialty poutines will be on site Thursday (Sept. 11th) through Saturday Sept. 13th from 11-9PM and on Sunday September 14th from 11AM-6PM.
Take Note: The Arnprior Terry Fox Run takes place Sunday September 14th. Register at the Gazebo at Robert Simpson Park starting at 10AM. The Run begins at 11AM. There is choice of a 1km walk, or a 3km and 5km run. There will be Face Painting and ?Silent Auction at the park (10:00am-12:30pm). Mississippi Mills:
Today: Coffee Time Drop-in happens from 10-1130AM at the Pakenham Branch of the Mississippi Mills Public Library.
Riversong Players auditions continue this evening at the Almonte Old Town Hall from 530-830PM. There are parts and roles for ages 10 and up. Info@riversonplayers.com
Tomorrow: The Almonte Legion Corn Roast takes place beginning at 2PM. Enjoy a free corn on the cob with the purchase of every burger. There will be live music provided by Cashmen Ford and Friends from 3-6PM. Dinner at 6PM and a Barn Party from 7-10PM. Tickets are $10, and are available at the Legion.
Carleton Place:
Tomorrow: The Carleton Place Farmers Market happens from 830AM-1230PM at Market Square.
Support local farmers and artisans. Fresh produce, baked goods, and handmade treasures. Rain or shine.

The Lanark County Ukrainian Festival happens at Riverside Park from Noon to 8PM. It’s intended to introduce Canadians to the 1,000 year-old Eastern European culture, and you’re sure to enjoy it.

The Arnprior Packers are in Perth tonight to play the Blue Wings in EOJHL Exhibition action. Start time is 730PM
Arnprior McNab Braeside United Soccer’s WINTER RECREATIONAL PROGRAM Registration is on now for the U5/U6, U7/U8, and U9/U10 Boys & Girls program. This program is perfect for young players to learn, play, and have fun in a supportive environment. Sessions start October 6th and there are 23 sessions in total.
