Arnprior:
Take Note: The Arnprior Terry Fox Run takes place Sunday September 14th. Register at the Gazebo at Robert Simpson Park starting at 10AM. The Run begins at 11AM. There is choice of a 1km walk, or a 3km and 5km run. There will be Face Painting and ?Silent Auction at the park (10:00am-12:30pm). Mississippi Mills:
Today: Baby Time, featuring songs, rhymes and stories for ages up to 12 months (with a caregiver) is offered at the Almonte Branch of the Mississippi Mills Public Library from 10-1030AM.
The Spanish Conversation Group meets at the Almonte branch every second Wednesday from 4-5pm. This is a casual Spanish conversation group so some knowledge of Spanish is required to participate. Members engage in normal topics of conversation as the weather, food, traveling, hobbies, etc. to help with fluidity of spoken Spanish.
The semi-annual Community Open House is on from 6-8PM at the John Levi Community Centre in Almonte. It’s your chance to connect with dozens of local groups and organizations in the community in one spot! Come out and discover the organizations in the area. Sports organizations, festival planners, local services, and more, there’s something for everyone!
Tomorrow: A Meal for All’s Free Community Breakfast takes place from 830-1030AM at 111 Church Street in Almonte. A MEAL FOR ALL strives to build community by providing opportunities to gather and share food.

Today: The Carleton Place Community Lunch takes place from Noon to 1PM at Zion Memorial Church on Franklin Street.
Tomorrow: The Free Community Breakfast is offered from 830-1030AM at St. James Anglican Church, 225 Edmund Street.
Queer Sphere Junk Journaling is on from 3-430PM Teens aged 12-16 are welcome to join us on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 3-4:30pm for a fun craft and conversation. Wednesday, September 10th will be all about junk journaling—a group favourite that will set the intention for your school year and give you some visual goals. No need to register or bring anything except an open mind and willingness to accept everyone into the group. We are inclusive and supportive, so even if group activities aren’t your favourite, you’ll find something to enjoy in this fun session.

Arnprior McNab Braeside United Soccer’s WINTER RECREATIONAL PROGRAM Registration is on now for the U5/U6, U7/U8, and U9/U10 Boys & Girls program. This program is perfect for young players to learn, play, and have fun in a supportive environment. Sessions start October 6th and there are 23 sessions in total.
