Arnprior:
Take Note: The Arnprior Terry Fox Run takes place Sunday September 14th. Register at the Gazebo at Robert Simpson Park starting at 10AM. The Run begins at 11AM. There is choice of a 1km walk, or a 3km and 5km run. There will be Face Painting and Silent Auction at the park (10:00am-12:30pm). Mississippi Mills:
Today: The North Lanark Regional Museum invites you to join in today at noon for lunch and euchre! The program “Shuffling the Cards” runs every Monday from 12 – 2:30 p.m. Have a nutritious lunch and play a game of euchre. Admission is $10 per person. This program is funded by the New Horizons for Seniors Program Grant.
Catch “Crystal Journey”, a sonic concert tonight and Tuesday beginning at 7PM at Union Hall, 1984 Wolf Grove Road. Cost is $35 in advance, $40 at the door. Tickets are available via ticketsplease.ca

Carleton Place:
Today: The new Adult Book Club season begins on Monday, Sept. 8th at 6:30PM at the Carleton Place Public Library. The September book is THE GUILDED HOUR by Sara Donati. Find the book list for the entire season on the Library website. if you are able to source the book yourself for tonight’s inaugural, you are more than welcome to attend.
Tomorrow: The Carleton Place Community Lunch happens from Noon to 1PM at Zion Memorial Church, 37 Franklin Street. Everyone is welcome.
Local Sports:
Arnprior McNab Braeside United Soccer’s WINTER RECREATIONAL PROGRAM Registration is on now for the U5/U6, U7/U8, and U9/U10 Boys & Girls program. This program is perfect for young players to learn, play, and have fun in a supportive environment. Sessions start October 6th and there are 23 sessions in total.
