Arnprior:
Take Note: The CAMMAC Ottawa Valley chorus will perform their annual choir concert amid the stunning cathedral setting of St. John Chrysostom Church in Arnprior, on Sunday, September 7th at 3PM. CAMMAC (Canadian Amateur Musicians / Musiciens Amateurs du Canada) draws choristers for a summer choir from up and down the Ottawa Valley, including Westmeath, Pembroke, Cobden, Almonte, Pakenham, Carleton Place, Arnprior, Renfrew, Braeside and Sand Point, as well as Ottawa-Gatineau. Artistic Director Lisa Webber – founder of the Arnprior Community Choir and Two Rivers Musical Productions – returns once again as conductor for this special performance. Doors open at 2.30 p.m. Tickets are available now from White Pine Books in Arnprior (cash only) or at the door. Adults $30, students $10, children 12 and under free.
Mississippi Mills:
Today: A Meal for All’s Free Community Breakfast takes place from 830-1030AM at 111 Church Street in Almonte. A MEAL FOR ALL strives to build community by providing opportunities to gather and share food.
The Almonte Civitan Club presents its Community Luncheon from 1130AM-130PM at the Civitan Hall. Tickets are $23.00, and are available at Baker Bob’s, or at www.almontecivitan.com/shop. This month’s menu features chicken with roasted potatoes and broccoli in a honey garlic sauce, corn on the cob, salad and dinner roll with tea or coffee and Berry crisp for dessert.
Tomorrow: Coffee Time Drop-in happens from 10-1130AM at the Pakenham Branch of the Mississippi Mills Public Library.

Carleton Place:
Take Note: “Rock the Pantry”, a fundraiser for the Food Bank takes place from 1-5PM at the Carleton Place Legion, 177 George Street. Featured are four bands, silent auction, 50/50 raffle, and door prize. Admission is $10 adults (cash is ideal), children are free. There will also be a cash BBQ. All ages are welcome.

Arnprior McNab Braeside United Soccer’s WINTER RECREATIONAL PROGRAM Registration is on now for the U5/U6, U7/U8, and U9/U10 Boys & Girls program. This program is perfect for young players to learn, play, and have fun in a supportive environment. Sessions start October 6th and there are 23 sessions in total.
