Don’t bother with your pocket change- you can’t use it to park at the Almonte General Hospital!
Starting yesterday, Paid Parking came into effect at AGH and they’ll take debit or credit cards only under the new pay-as-you-leave system.
The Mississippi River Health Alliance says funds received under the new practice will stay local, to benefit patient care, hospital operations and infrastructure maintenance.
The rate is $5 for a 24-hour period.
Visitors who leave within fifteen minutes won’t be charged, and there are special deals for 7-day and 28-day passes.
