Tomorrow: Those enjoying the Lunch Bunch by Seniors at Home Wednesday at the Arnprior Legion will have their choice of ham and cheese or egg salad sandwich, soup, dessert and tea or coffee. Your $12 advance ticket for the luncheon always needs to be purchased the Friday before the event.
Mississippi Mills:
Tomorrow: Baby Time At the Almonte Branch of the Mississippi Mills Public Library happens from10-1030AM.
It’s for infants up to 12 months with their parent/caregiver/grandparent. Afterwards, there will be time to socialize with other babies.
Carleton Place:
Today: The Carleton Place Community Lunch happens from Noon to 1PM at Zion Memorial Church, 37 Franklin Street. Everyone is welcome.
Tomorrow: The Free Community Breakfast is offered from 830-1030AM at St. James Anglican Church, 225 Edmund Street.

The Horticultural Society Monthly Meeting takes place from 7-9PM at Zion Memorial Church, 37 Franklin Street. Melanie Ouellette will talk on ‘ Native Plant Gardening ‘. Ms. Ouellette is associated with the Ottawa wildflower seed library.
Local Sports: Arnprior McNab Braeside United Soccer’s Winter Recreational Program Registration is on now for the U5/U6, U7/U8, and U9/U10 Boys & Girls program. This program is perfect for young players to learn, play, and have fun in a supportive environment. Sessions start October 6th and there are 23 sessions in total.
