Take Note: The Town of Arnprior Recreation Department presents its “Summer’s End Showcase” on Sunday August 31st from Noon to 3PM at the gazebo at Robert Simpson Park. The Summer’s End Showcase is a short music festival to wrap up the summer event series with 6 local acts on stage for 30 minutes each.
Mississippi Mills:
Today: A Meal for All’s Free Community Breakfast takes place from 830-1030AM at 111 Church Street in Almonte. A MEAL FOR ALL strives to build community by providing opportunities to gather and share food.
Come see The Wild Robot under the stars with the Friends of Cedar Hill Schoolhouse, this evening at dusk at 270 Cedar Hill Side Road
Tomorrow: Coffee Time Drop-in happens from 10-1130AM at the Pakenham Branch of the Mississippi Mills Public Library.
Carleton Place:
Today: Join us at the Carleton Junction Pavilion from 630-8PM as we kick back with some great live music by Cargo Cult
Bring a snack, and a chair/comfy seat. There are washrooms and a refillable water bottle station on site. Cargo Cult is an Ottawa acoustic duo bringing back the best from the 70s and the decades that surround. Come and take a trip into the past with these two acoustic players and their rich harmonies.
