Here’s a yarn about collaboration between community partners.
Lanark County Interval House is expressing its gratitude to Andy and the Learn to Crochet group at the Carleton Place Public Library.
Over the past few months, this group came together to learn new skills and create beautiful handmade items. Their dedication and teamwork resulted in an incredible donation to LCIHCS clients, which included: 3 large blankets, 1 throw or lap blanket, 3 baby blankets, 5 scarves, 1 shawl and 20 dish cloths.
LCIHCS notes these cozy, handmade items will provide comfort and warmth to survivors and their families, reminding them that their community cares.
