Arnprior:
Today: All this week both the websites of the Town of Arnprior and the Municipality of Mississippi Mills are promoting the Summer Adventure Camp schedule at the Mill of Kintail Conservation Area. Activities are offered weekdays from 9AM-4PM for kids ages 6-12. Campers enjoy a variety of nature-themed games and adventurous activities at the beautiful Mill of Kintail location. Each day will include time spent playing, learning and exploring in the forested trails, stream, and fields. For major activities, campers will be split by age groups as needed to ensure age-appropriate levels of play.

Late Pick-Up (additional fee): 5:00pm or before
Tomorrow: The Save the Grove Again Committee presents an accessible Grove Rove Nature Walk beginning at 9AM from the Ottawa Street entrance of Gillies Grove. There is no charge to participate.
Mississippi Mills:
Today: Check the Summer Adventure Camp schedule at the Mill of Kintail Conservation Area. Activities are offered weekdays from 9AM-4PM for kids ages 6-12. The Mill of Kintail Conservation Area is located at 2854 Ramsay Concession 8, Almonte.
Coffee Time Drop-in happens from 10-1130AM at the Pakenham Branch of the Mississippi Mills Public Library.
The Almonte Civitan Community Hall will host a blood donor clinic by Canadian Blood Services on August 15, from 2-7PM. You can book your appointment at blood.ca or call 1 888 2 DONATE.
Tomorrow: The Almonte Town and Home Tour, presented by Westview Projects, will take place from 10AM-5PM in support of Almonte General Hospital Fairview Manor Foundation and the Mississippi Valley Textile Museum. Carleton Place:
Today: You and your dog are invited to “Sniff out some Carleton Place history.” Join museum curator Jennifer Irwin for a walk through the Historic Mill District. Learn about trees and trains, riots and religion!
