Brand-name recognition equates to immediate successes. Ankita Patel and her spouse are proprietors of Osmow’s Shawarma in the new plaza next to the Canadian Tire Gas Bar on Daniel Street in Arnprior.
Shawarma fans will notice the difference between Osmow’s and traditional Shawarma right away- and they are flocking to the Egyptian variety across Canada in number.
Ankita says being close to Ottawa- Canada’s Shawarma Capital, is a huge plus for recognition, and Osmow’s taste takes it from there.
What used to be known as a “door crasher special” is free to the first fifty customers.
The Osmow’s proprietor says there are also specials offered all day.
Patel says Shawarma gives you all your food groups in one wrap- but don’t forget the “and more” part gives you some delicious desserts.
Ankita is a “people person”. The Algonquin Food and Nutrition graduate has two related degrees since coming to Canada as an International Student in 2009. She’s managed a Manitoba A&W, a private family restaurant, has performed as a hospital dietary supervisor- and will most likely share her story at your table.
Let’s extend a warm welcome to Ankita Patel- just as she welcomes you!
