Here’s what’s going on in Arnprior and area over the next 48 hours.
Arnprior:
Today: All this week both the websites of the Town of Arnprior and the Municipality of Mississippi Mills are promoting the Summer Adventure Camp schedule at the Mill of Kintail Conservation Area. Activities are offered weekdays from 9AM-4PM for kids ages 6-12. Campers enjoy a variety of nature-themed games and adventurous activities at the beautiful Mill of Kintail location. Each day will include time spent playing, learning and exploring in the forested trails, stream, and fields. For major activities, campers will be split by age groups as needed to ensure age-appropriate levels of play.

Early Drop-Off (additional fee): 8:00am or after
Late Pick-Up (additional fee): 5:00pm or before
Mississippi Mills:
Today: Check the Summer Adventure Camp schedule at the Mill of Kintail Conservation Area. Activities are offered weekdays from 9AM-4PM for kids ages 6-12. The Mill of Kintail Conservation Area is located at 2854 Ramsay Concession 8, Almonte.
A Meal for All’s Free Community Breakfast takes place from 830-1030AM at 111 Church Street in Almonte.
Tomorrow: Pakenham Drop-In Coffee Time happens from 10-1130AM at the Library Branch on MacFarlane Street.
The Conversational French Club meets from 1030-1130AM at the Almonte Library Branch. An intermediate knowledge of French is necessary in order to take part.
Carleton Place:
Tomorrow: Enjoy Storytime in the Museum Gardens from 10-11AM. Meet at the Museum on 267 Edmund Street in Carleton Place for stories, songs and more. Please bring something to sit on if the grass is still damp. If it rains, storytime will be held at the library instead.
Local Sports:
The Arnprior McNab-Braeside United Soccer Club offers players age 4-50+ the opportunity to play soccer at the right level in their age group. See the program page on their website for details.
