A Rain Date for this year’s Galilee Centre Teddy Bear Picinc was arranged after last season’s indoor event- but none was required this past Saturday, as the retreat welcomed a crush of about fifty teddies promptly at 11AM for this year’s free event.
All Teddy Bears passed their doctor’s examination.

Galilee Executive Director Megan Postin, mother to Bear Doctor Rory was pleased.
The Teddy Bear Picnic also served as an adoption centre for bears from previous picnics.
The Galilee Centre’s Teddy Bear picnic attracted visitors from far and wide to the Saturday event- the third annual.
Children enjoyed yard games, multi flavours of cotton candy, lemonade- and hot dogs by donation. The sunny weather was a big change from both Thursday’s thunderstorm, and last year’s picnic- which had to be held indoors.
