Arnprior:
Today: All this week both the websites of the Town of Arnprior and the Municipality of Mississippi Mills are promoting the Summer Adventure Camp schedule at the Mill of Kintail Conservation Area. Activities are offered weekdays from 9AM-4PM for kids ages 6-12. Campers enjoy a variety of nature-themed games and adventurous activities at the beautiful Mill of Kintail location. Each day will include time spent playing, learning and exploring in the forested trails, stream, and fields. For major activities, campers will be split by age groups as needed to ensure age-appropriate levels of play.

Mississippi Mills:
Today: Check the Summer Adventure Camp schedule at the Mill of Kintail Conservation Area. Activities are offered weekdays from 9AM-4PM for kids ages 6-12. The Mill of Kintail Conservation Area is located at 2854 Ramsay Concession 8, Almonte.
The North Lanark Regional Museum invites you to join in Mondays at Noon for lunch and euchre! Our new program “Shuffling the Cards” will run every Monday from 12-2:30 pm. Have a nutritious lunch and play a game of euchre. Admission is $5 per person. This program is funded by the New Horizons for Seniors Program Grant.
Carebridge Community Support’s walking group welcome all fitness levels – just bring your smile and a pair of shoes. Sessions take place Mondays at 1PM at the Pakenham Branch of the Mississippi Mills Public Library from June 23rd to August 11th. The Almonte Legion Pipe Band has an Open Rehearsal this evening from 7-8PM in Gemmill Park, 182 Bridge Street.
Tomorrow: Grant Montag is the Mississippi Mills Public Library’s volunteer 3D print Ambassador. He helps new enthusiasts become confident using the 3D printer, and is at the Almonte branch most Tuesdays from 1230-2PM.
Carleton Place:
Today: You’re invited to an Evening of Music in Riverside Park, (137 John St.) Carleton Place from 730-830PM, performed by Carleton Place and District Community Band (45+ musicians). Admission is Free. Donation offering would be appreciated. Check www.facebook.com/cpadcb
Tomorrow: The Carleton Place Community Lunch takes place from Noon-1PM at Zion Memorial Church, 37 Franklin Street. Everyone is welcome.
Local Sports:
The Arnprior McNab-Braeside United Soccer Club offers players age 4-50+ the opportunity to play soccer at the right level in their age group. See the program page on their website for details.
