There’s a survey you can take part in that will help determine policing priorities in the area.
The recently renamed South Ottawa Valley OPP Detachment Board is circulating it now, and the deadline to take part is August 10th.
It will take between five and ten minutes of your time, and will help shape policing priorities from 2026-2029.
Topics for comment include: Public safety and crime prevention, Community engagement and partnerships,
Support for vulnerable populations, traffic and road safety and Emergency response and preparedness.
Additionally to responding, online a public consultation is being organized, the location and time for which will be announced soon.
Participate by completing the online survey at https://ow.ly/lwHX50Wu4O2
