Join the Town of Renfrew at the Riverside Drive boat launch this Thursday evening for an evening of mingling and paddling with friends a neighbours! Free for anyone bringing their own equipment, or reserve your gear by emailing madriverpaddleco@gmail.com. Register online.
TODAY: Seniors at Home in Arnprior invites you to their 24th annual Seniors BBQ, a fun event at Robert Simpson Park for seniors or adults with disabilities! Thursday, July 17th from 12-2pm. Tickets $10 from agency office. Price includes hamburger, fries, drink and ice-cream. Music entertainment by Katie and Just Country. Rain date the following Thursday.
TOMORROW: The Downtown Renfrew BIA welcomes you to kick start your weekend with Music in the Square! Every Friday in July and August, the BIA will bring local artists and bands to Low Square, just outside Town Hall on Raglan Street! While you’re there, check out the Heart of Renfrew Market happening all throughout Downtown. This week, Cody Labombard takes the stage from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Weather permitting.
TOMORROW: The St. Lawrence and Ottawa Valley Region Pony Club welcomes alumni Allie Vieweg for a Mounted Games clinic this Friday evening at 5:00 at Springbank Equestrian (3465 Burnstown Rd). Riders do skills training on foot, plus mounted sessions and races, followed by popsicles afterwards. $30 mounted, $15 unmounted. Ponies can be shared between 2 riders.

Fans and interested residents are invited to come watch and cheer on friends and family on the water at Robert Simpson Park as the Dragon Boat Festival kicks off a day of races on Saturday, July 26th! Lone residents who want to take part in the race can also join the individuals team ahead of July 19th.
