Today: The School’s Out Beach Party is a newer favourite on the Arnprior Summer Calendar. The feature is presented by Kirk Orthodontics, offering Family-friendly orthodontic care for patients age 7 to adults. It’s this afternoon starting at 5PM, at Robert Simpson Park in Arnprior.
Take Note: Bicentennial Celebrations for McNab-Braeside Township happen at the Municipal Complex on Russett Drive Saturday from 10AM-4PM. There’s a free BBQ and Strawberry Social involved as well as storytelling and entertainment. This event was 200 years in the planning!
Mississippi Mills:
Today: A Meal for All’s free Community breakfast happens every Thursday morning at 111 Church Street in Almonte from 830-1030AM.
Jump on a Bike takes place from 930-1030AM at the Alameda, 155 High Street in Almonte. The event qualifies as a Participaction Challenge activity.
The Lanark County Support Services Walk takes place from 1-230PM. Come out to the Gemmill Park track (182 Bridge Street, Almonte) with Lanark County Support Services and be part of the Step Challenge! Everyone welcome. Water and a small snack are included!
Tomorrow: Pakenham Drop-In Coffee Time happens at the Library Branch from 10-1130AM
The Conversational French Club is on at the Almonte Library Branch from 10:30 to 1130AM

Carleton Place:
Tomorrow: The Library Lemonade Stand Summer Reading Kick Off event is on from 1:30-3:30pm. Come for a few minutes, grab a glass of free lemonade and pick up your Summer Reading registration kit. There’s lots of information about the Juvenile Summer Reading program, Teen Summer Reading, and Adult Summer Reading programs.
The Carleton Place Beer Festival promises an unforgettable experience for all attendees. The festival takes place at the CP Market Pavilion and parking lot (7 Beckwith Street) Friday. Doors open at 4:00 PM, with last call at 10:15 PM. Featured are Craft Beverage Vendors, Food Trucks, and Live Music.
