Viewers are invited to join Pride in Mississippi Mills and CP Pride for a screening of the documentary, ‘Lanark County Voices – There’s a Place for Me Here’
The documentary by Queer Connection Lanark features 13 members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, offering a glimpse of what their lives are like in Lanark County.
It weaves their stories together offering their insights, struggles and hopes for the future.
The film is being shown to close out Pride Month, Sunday, June 29th at 7PM at the Mississippi Valley Textile Museum (3 Rosamond Street East, Almonte)
Admission to the showing is free, but donations are encouraged.
