Take Note: Now that Priorpalooza is in the rearview mirror, the Town of Arnprior’s Summer Events schedule is proceeding apace. The School’s Out Beach Party is a newer favourite on the Arnprior Summer Calendar. The feature is presented by Kirk Orthodontics, offering Family-friendly orthodontic care for patients age 7 to adults. It’s June 26th, starting at 5PM, at Robert Simpson Park in Arnprior.
Mississippi Mills:
Today: Baby Time, featuring songs, rhymes and stories for children up to 12 months with a caregiver happens Wednesdays from 10 to 1030AM at the Almonte Branch of the Mississippi Mills Public Library. It’s followed by Story Time, from 11 to 11:30AM for children ages 1-4 with caregiver.
Join Mississippi Mills Mayor, Christa Lowry, and Council as they walk around Pakenham for the Participaction Community Challenge, from 1-2PM. ‘Jon the Cowguy’ will be on hand to entertain the kids from Pakenham school and other little ones. There will be music to warm up to. All ages are welcome at this event.
The Spanish Conversation Group meets at the Almonte branch every second Wednesday from 4-5pm.
This is a casual Spanish conversation group so some knowledge of Spanish is required to participate.
Tomorrow: A Meal for All presents its Free Community Breakfast from 830-1030AM at 111 Church Street in Almonte.
