If you want an interesting intellectual exercise between the Red Pine Bay Father’s Day Car Show, and the Lions Club’s Jail and Bail, check out Artist-in-Residence Natalie Kauffman at the Arnprior and District Museum, who talk, from 2-4PM focuses on growing up in the disfunctional decade of the 1970s.
Her installation, “Book on a Wall” explores themes of the lived experience of being a child exposed to communal living, anti-establishmentarianism, self-expression, free love, and mind-altering substances.
