Take Note: The Arnprior Lions Club’s Annual Jail and Bail Event is coming up Saturday June 14th at the Giant Tiger Parking Lot. One of the culprits behind bars is the Valley’s own Wayne Rostad! For more information call Lion Don Gougeon at 613-299-8704.
Mississippi Mills:
Today: Shuffling the Cards: The North Lanark Regional Museum invites you to join us Mondays at Noon for lunch and euchre! The new program “Shuffling the Cards” will run every Monday from 12-2:30 pm. Members of the community are invited for a nutritious lunch and a game of euchre. Admission is $5 per person.
This program is funded by the New Horizons for Seniors Program Grant.
The Participaction Challenge Kick Off Walk, led by the Mayor and Council will take place at Noon (to 130PM) from the Almonte Alameda. Everyone is welcome. Sign up for your activities this month by visiting www.participaction.com/signup
Tomorrow: 3D Printing Help is available courtesy of Grant Montag, who is the library’s volunteer 3D print Ambassador. Help is available from 1230 to 2PM.
Carleton Place:
Tomorrow: The Carleton Place Community Lunch takes place from Noon to 1PM at Zion Memorial Church, 37 Franklin Street. Everyone is welcome.
Local Sports:
The Arnprior McNab-Braeside United Soccer Club offers players age 4-50+ the opportunity to play soccer at the right level in their age group. See the program page on their website for details.
